Chris Banning

Chairman of the Board / Chief Executive Officer
Chris Banning is a Service Disabled Veteran who served in the United States Air Force. Chris brings over 21 years of Information Technology and Voice Communications experience as an Electrical Supervisor at a major United States Air Force Base and also served as a Telecommunication Instructor for Tulsa Technology in Fiber Optics and Copper Cabling. Chris has a Bachelor of Science, Business Management and an Associate of Electrical Systems degree from the Community College of the Air Force. Emil Hinkefent, PMP

President / Chief Operations Officer

Emil is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who has been in the Information Technology Industry since 2007. A majority of his career has been focused on management and support of enterprise-wide end-users and I.T. infrastructure. Since 2016, he has shifted focus to low-voltage systems, working as a technician in the field before moving to a Sales and Estimation role and working his way to his current role as President/Chief Operating Officer. He currently holds his Oklahoma Commercial Fire, Burglar, Access Control, CCTV, and Locksmith Manager licenses along with an Associate’s Degree in Business Marketing from Tulsa Community College.

Emil has played a key role in large scale software deployments and hardware roll-outs and has personally estimated and managed multiple multimillion dollar projects with a proven track record of finishing under budget and ahead of schedule to the full satisfaction of our clients and customers. With Emil at the helm, BanningCS will continue to help customers achieve their goals and provide the best products, services, and solutions for their needs.

Emily Ruggs, PMP

Senior Vice President / Chief Financial Officer
Emily is a communications specialist with experience in business development, proposal management, public relations, strategic planning, research, and business operations. She is passionate about working with clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Tulsa. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a result-driven team player, and she finds great satisfaction in seeing a project through to completion.
Robert Renfro - Low Voltage Systems Account Manager

Chief Business Development Officer
Robert Renfrow is an accomplished Low Voltage Systems Account Manager, holding industry and manufacturer's certifications, coupled with over 7 years of field installation, service, and installation management experience. Robert holds NICET Level II Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology: Fire Alarm Systems, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds multiple certifications in other disciplines including Enterprise Level Video Surveillance and Access Control Systems, Structured Cabling and Fiber Optic Systems. Mr. Renfro has over thirteen years of supervisory experience, and his current responsibilities with the Banning Team include systems design, drafting, sales and estimation, and project management.

Jon Cupp came to BanningCS with nearly 30 years of professional experience in project management, spanning dozens of projects, totaling hundreds of millions of dollars of service. As our new Vice President, Jon uses his experience working with large-scale projects in the industrial, commercial, institutional and healthcare sectors, to bring a new dimension of efficiency to the BanningCS team, tying in unique strategies founded in institutional wisdom to expand our offerings and maximize our ability to provide unparalleled service to all of our customers.

Asa Barrett

Director of Operations
Asa Barrett is a Purple Heart Medal and Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM) recipient, having participated in Operation: Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan while serving as a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard. As Director of Operations at BanningCS, Asa provides leadership, coordination, and logistics planning by managing the scheduling and delegation of daily duties on some of our biggest projects. Further, he regularly coordinates with project stakeholders, including owners, general contractors, and all other trade contractors on the project.

Levi has served as a Controller, CFO, and Consultant with several very large contractors with an emphasis on tax planning and cost accounting. Levi is an IRS Enrolled Agent - A Department of Treasury license for tax advisement, compliance, and representation before all levels of the IRS and all 50 State Revenue Agencies. As a Master Financial Coach with the Dave Ramsey Team, he has helped shareholders leverage the success of high growth companies to build a lasting financial legacy for generations to come.

Lindsay began working in government contracting in 2011 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in both the low voltage industry and contracting. As Managing Director, Lindsay is tasked with ensuring that all financial documents are accurate and current. Lindsay graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern State University, double majoring in Accounting and Management Information Systems. With her accounting background and experience managing government projects, she takes the time to explain cost breakdowns to project managers, making sure their projects stay on or under budget.

Design and Communications Manager
Adam is a skilled CAD designer with a diversified experience in construction documentation, building and system design, project management, customer relations, deliverable preparation, and logistics. He is driven toward fluid project movement and sees clear lines of communication and detailed documentation as his primary tools to meet that goal. Adam graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a Minor in Writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is dedicated to making clear and consistent installation documentation and team communication a staple in every project.

Kevin has over 10 years of experience in the LVS/construction industry with extensive commercial and Government work, as well as experience managing large, complex multi-use design, deployment and development projects. Kevin began his career as a field technician and evolved into a Senior Project Manager. Kevin fosters an environment of teamwork and ensures that strategy is clearly defined while overseeing performance and maintaining morale. His strong technical, communication, and client service skills enhance Banning’s processes and customer satisfaction-driven management philosophy.

Phillip Meek

Project Manager
Phillip Meeks serves as a Project Manager for BanningCS, experienced in the management and installation of Data, Telecommunications, Controls, Hardware, and Cabling. Phillip is responsible for leadership, planning, and coordination on many of our projects around the world and is leaned upon internally for his product knowledge and technical implementation expertise. He is adept in the installation and maintenance of nurse call systems, surveillance systems, access control, analog and IP cameras, and fire alarm systems, as well as fiber installation, termination, and testing.

Ashley Clark, PMP

PMO Manager / Project Manager
Ashley comes to BanningCS with a wealth of experience from major GC’s such as Henkel’s & McCoy and Crowder Construction. A Military University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Ashley has put her degree to good use with several years of professional experience in the fields of both safety and construction. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), she is a dynamic young professional with an aptitude for innovation and creative problem solving in demanding environments, with dexterity in working independently or as part of a team. She is communicative and personable, learns and adapts quickly, and serves internal and external customers with poise and professionalism. With her flexible and adaptive go-getter attitude, Ashley believes anything is possible.

As Human Resources Manager, Jenny oversees employee relations, payroll, recruiting, and hiring. Jenny manages regulatory compliance and identifies ways to maximize the value of the organization’s policies as Banning Contracting Services continues to grow. Jenny graduated from Oklahoma State University from the college of Human Environmental Sciences and has a background in customer service and management. Utilizing her ability to organize and lead others, Jenny is a strategic manager who consistently reviews and effectively streamlines company processes.

Vadim has over 25 years of computer/software experience, as well as more than 15 years of surveillance hardware/software experience. He is responsible for estimating Low Voltage systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Paging, Nurse Call, Area of Rescue, Structured Cabling, WAPs, Switches, Sound masking, and more. He specializes in project estimating, material procurement, purchasing, and research. Vadim holds various certifications including CompTIA A+, CCTV/Access Control/Commercial Burg and Fire Alarm Licenses, Web Design, Web Programming, Radio/ Electronic equipment assembly, Allegion, Networking, IDS and CCTV, Fluidmesh, Primex clocks, Cambridge sound, OfficeServ, Xirrus.

KP is an experienced fiber technician and quality engineer who is dedicated to superior workmanship. He is responsible the management of projects and work crews, as well as safety. KP works to create an efficient working environment while also maintaining the overall quality of workmanship, and he is responsible for training on a variety of systems and procedures.
